THE TEAM
Maximillian Gill was born in India and received his master's in creative writing in California.
He is currently based in New York. His work has been staged by a number of companies and festivals including the New York Fringe Festival, the New York City Children's Theater, Theatre West in Los Angeles, and the Liverpool Arab Arts Festival in Liverpool.
As an immigrant from India, his primary objective is to feature immigrant BIPOC characters and tell their stories. He believes representation is even more important now at a time when immigration is the focus of fraught political debates in much of the western world. Immigrant stories are everyone's stories, and the more we as a society see people from different backgrounds represented on stage, the more we can hope to move towards acceptance of the full variety and texture of human experience.
